Initially at 9 Park Hill Head, certified 19th March 1856 for 60 girls. Moved and re-certified in 1865. The 3rd February 1905 the certificate was extended to receive 65 girls. Certificate further extended on 13th February 1906 for increased numbers. Re-certified 4th May 1910 for 70 girls.
A moderate sized house which had been enlarged. Closed 3rd November 1921.

1900 - Superintendent Miss Grane ; the teacher Miss M. Burgess left 5th January 1900. Miss Negroponte was appointed for 1 month on 28th January 1900. Miss A. Priest to enter on duties as teacher 1st March 1900. Assistant matron Miss Winson ; sewing matron Miss I. Read ; laundress Miss Green. Chaplain Rev. W. Barrow.
