Initially at 9 Park Hill Head, certified 19th March 1856 for 60 girls. Moved and re-certified in 1865. The 3rd February 1905 the certificate was extended to receive 65 girls. Certificate further extended on 13th February 1906 for increased numbers. Re-certified 4th May 1910 for 70 girls.
A moderate sized house which had been enlarged. Closed 3rd November 1921.

1903 - Mrs R.H. Phillips was appointed superintendent of 1st March 1902 in succession to Miss L. Grane ; teacher Miss Buttery
