The school was a combination of farm and institution. Closed 7th October 1926. May have used the name Standon Park.

1891 - Superintendent and matron, Mr & Mrs Day; head teacher Mr Verity; assistant head teacher Mr Fieldhouse; farm bailiff Mr Williams. The inspector also remarked "On the morning of my visit (18th April 1891), and just before my arrival, an alarming fire had broken out, which very soon destroyed the cow-house and threatened other portions of the premises, but the workmen and the boys, with the assistance of a few of the neighbours, were successful in extinguishing it. There was plenty of water but no fire engine. By strenuous effort the danger was averted. The boys worked very heartily".
