ROYAL PATRIOTIC FUND

RETURN for the Account of the net moneys or securities paid over or transferred to the commissioners of the Royal Patriotic Fund on behalf of and for the relief of the families or near dependents, of the Officers and Men of Her Majesty’s Forces, including the Colonial troops, who have lost their lives in, or in consequence of, the war operations in South Africa.

(There were two wars fought, 1st during 1880–1881 and  2nd during 1899–1902.  These records, in view of the children's ages, relate to the war in 1899-1902).

Dated 14th December 1900; Ordered, by the House of Commons, to be printed 10th May 1901.

The following information has been transcribed from British Parliamentary papers, owned by the Webmaster; it has been transcribed by me, verbatim.  I have proof read several times, but as always I would be happy to accept any reasonable requests to re-check my transcribing.  No other information is given.
