These girls reside with Mr & Mrs Letting, who have no children of their own. They seemed strong and well nourished. Foster mother described them as truthful and obedient. M.A. Smith has passed the Sixth and Emily the Fourth Standard; the former is shortly going to service. They sleep in a good bedroom. The supply of water is described as very good. Foster father, gardener; mother, straw-hat maker.
